NUTRIENTS EXPLAINED

NAD+ - Commonly deficient in those who are aging, have inflammatory conditions, mood disorders, chronic fatigue, memory loss, insomnia, etc.  NAD+ improves brain health, decreases inflammation, repairs DNA, reverses aging, improves immunity, and balances the neurotransmitters that impact mood.  It also helps detoxification at the cellular level. Our NAD+ is unique in that we have several kinds that also include amino acids, making it more powerful than typical IV NAD+.

B12 - Important for energy, weight loss, stamina, and mood; lowers risk of dementia, heart attack, and stroke.

B6 - A key nutrient for good quality sleep, a good mood (it is needed for serotonin production), treating fatigue, and used in conjunction with magnesium for treating conditions like migraine headaches and nausea of pregnancy.

MIC B12 - MIC = methionine, inositol, carnitine, and with the B12 it is helpful for weight loss, mood, liver detoxification, and improved energy.

B Complex - Improves fatigue and helps mood with a broad-based B vitamin cocktail, needed by cells to make energy and feel-good neurotransmitters.

Vitamin C - By IV, vitamin C can reach higher levels in the blood than the same amount taken orally.  You can also take MUCH higher amounts of vitamin C IV than orally because high doses of oral vitamin C can cause diarrhea.  IV vitamin C is used in cases of viral and bacterial infection, cancer, and is used to improve mood and support the immune system. In combination with B vitamins, it helps increase energy.  Vitamin C is also a natural antihistamine and can help in cases of allergy and histamine intolerance.

Zinc - Supports metabolism, activates antioxidant enzymes, reduces inflammation, and helps your body fight off both bacterial and viral infections. It is a treatment for wound healing, acne, and prevents the development of dementia in old age.  It chelates metals such as copper that can cause brain issues.  It helps proper functioning of your taste and smell senses.  Many people with depression and anxiety have low levels in their blood, and IV zinc can help treat these conditions.

Magnesium - Supportive for muscles, heart (including atrial fibrillation and high blood pressure), and is commonly used in IV forms for pain and migraine headaches.

Selenium (Currently Unavailable) - An antioxidant, and important for proper thyroid function, healthy skin, and is considered an anti-aging support.

Glutathione - Also call the Master Antioxidant, glutathione mops up bad toxic molecules in your 

body and gets rid of them. Many chronic conditions such as autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, biotoxin illness, and others have in common a deficiency of glutathione.  Glutathione is not easily absorbed orally, but IV administration helps these conditions.  It also slows aging, boosts athletic ability, controls inflammation, and helps detox through the liver.

L-Lysine - An anti-viral amino acid used for both chronic and acute viral infections, including cold sores and shingles outbreaks.  Lysine can also reduce anxiety and calm the stress response, and increases collagen for wound healing as well as promoting skin youthfulness.

Manganese - Deficient in many people with certain mood disorders and can help improve depression and anxiety. Manganese can also help support the immune system in those with chronic viruses.

Glutamine - An amino acid that your intestinal cells use to replicate and heal themselves; it treats “leaky gut”. Glutamine is also used to increase muscle mass and improve metabolism.

Venofer (Iron) - Many people have low iron due to medical conditions or due to chronic inflammation, but oral iron can be difficult on the stomach. For those who don’t tolerate oral forms of iron, IV iron can be used instead, and typically keeps iron levels normal for weeks or even months at a time.

Biotin - A water-soluble B vitamin that helps to support metabolism, improve blood sugar, strengthen hair and nails, and keep skin healthy and young-looking.  It can also treat rashes, acne, and psoriasis.

Taurine - Lowers cholesterol, reduces high blood pressure, helps vision and hearing, calms the nervous system, and improves brain function.

Glycine - Helps improve sleep quality, repairs tissue damage and improves skin quality, improves fatigue, and strengthens digestion.

Zofran - An anti-nausea medication.

Toradol - A pain relieving medication, an NSAID more powerful than over-the-counter products like ibuprofen.

Alpha Lipoic Acid - Helps your cells produce energy, revitalizes liver tissue, supports blood sugar, and reverses the effects of diabetes, slows the growth of cancer cells, and helps get rid of heavy metals in tissue.

Proline - Used for tissue repair, skin health, immune support, digestion and improved nutrient absorption, supporting metabolism and weight loss, increasing immune function, and decreasing inflammatory pathways.

L-Carnitine - Boosts metabolism and turns fat into fuel, helps preserve muscle tissue and build muscle with exercise, reduces fatigue.  B12, biotin, and L-carnitine are a good combination when doing weight loss treatments with either diet alone or in conjunction with hCG.

L-Arginine - Supports blood flow, so it is good for issues in the cardiovascular realm such as atrial fibrillation, as well as issues like erectile dysfunction. Helps detox through the kidneys, aids wound healing, supports immunity and helps to balance hormones.  It Is anti-aging as it helps increase levels of Human Growth Hormone.
