Madison "Mads" Farmer

Mads is a registered nurse who moved to Bozeman after spending some time in Frisco, Colorado. Originally from the small town of Frankfort, Michigan, she wanted to leave “the lakes” and take on the mountains. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Nursing in 2019 and started working at Trillium in 2020.

As Trillium’s Director of Clinical Operations, Mads helps coordinate both the clinical and day-to-day operations of the practice. She works closely with Dr. Thomson to support patients throughout their care, particularly those being treated for Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), biotoxin illness, mold-related illness, and other complex chronic health concerns.

Mads is the primary point of contact for patients. She helps coordinate laboratory testing and specialty test kits, prescriptions, and treatment-plan steps, referrals, follow-up care, medical records, and telemedicine appointments. As an RN, she also provides patient education, helps answer questions, and works directly with Dr. Thomson.

Mads also supports Trillium’s patient education and CIRS programs, helping patients better understand testing, treatment recommendations, and the many steps involved in navigating chronic illness. Her role combines nursing knowledge with care coordination and clinical operations to help keep each patient's care organized and moving forward.

When Mads isn't working, you can find her on the slopes snowboarding, at a music festival, making art, camping, or traveling. She enjoys all things nature, art, and music, and frequently has plans for a new adventure.
